My attitude with religion is this simple. Anyone who tells me theirs has all the answers. Is now automatically full of shit for telling me that. Any religion that makes it so people weren't as big of dicks as before. Fine by me. When religion teaches people to repress and hide from what life is really like. I believe it is teaching one of the most evil things you could ever impress on anyone. That would be repression. The second a missionary is sent door to door. You and everyone associated with you spreading your religion can go to hell. I get along better with religions that answer questions if people are interested in knowing. This is why Jewish people rock. They don't send missionaries door to door.

My views on spirituality are not something I share freely. Mainly because people would think I was nuts. I follow a theory I call universalism. BEHOLD! MY COPY AND PASTE SUPERPOWERS!

The basic concept of universalism isn't so much the adaptation to the universe or how to talk to it as an entity. It is learning to notice that force with a mind called the universe. The Christian would call this God or Jesus. Even the most intelligent of spiritual non believers would simply call it living life.

However, you must adapt your view on life to realize what should have been plain as day to begin with. The universal force talks to all of us on a daily basis. You just need to train your mind to see it.

Here is a prime example. When you don't listen to your instincts that indicate trouble. Or when you don't know how to get your mind to monitor these signals. Then you get trouble. The days you stop paying attention to your gut instinct are most of the days when trouble comes your way.

Anyone that would disagree with this statement is someone who keeps getting trouble or doesn't pay attention to the consqequences of choice. Anyone older, no matter what they believe. They, would understand this. So you can simply call it gut instincts. But, it is a universal force because it is something we all hold.

However, at some point trouble will always come your way. Simply becaue the universe can't leave you out of the natural process; which trouble is a part of. Good things will happen to bad people as bad things will happen to good people. Sometimes it is vice versa while other times it never seems so.

Every negative or positive choice will bring about a negative or positive reaction. However, people's opinion on what a negative or positive reaction is may differ. If you lead a hateful life you will attract hateful people. If you lead a gullible life you will attract people who will take advantage of you. If you lead a giving life...

You will either give too much or give enough while keeping enough for yourself that others give back to you. The reason others will give this respect back to you is because of the instinctive respect we give to people who have their heads together.

You make the action. The universe simply gives you the reaction your actions have asked for. Apply this simple rule to any area in your life and I promise you, that over the years you will see what I mean.

The meaning to life is like the mind of a child. A child simply sees a new experience and dives in. He lives, learns, grows, and adapts. Then he becomes a man. There are two types of men and women in this world. Those that are honest with themselves and how things are; who step outside what people would call thinking inside the box. Or not being able to see past your nose. It goes even further than that though. Since the Universe as an entity, because of the life which we all give it is infinitely larger than ourselves.

We will all, probably never see past our own reality. Or at least never as much as we would think we do. We get so caught up in playing the roles of adults that we lose the inner child which forces us to live, learn, grow and adapt. Some people end up living a personal hell the rest of their life and it's their own fault. Some people take what others do way too personally because it is against their moral standards.

This, is closet facism. Also known as the hive mind, the masses, the rat race. This system is about freeing your mind from this trap so you can live life with more honesty and truth. However, you can also use this to your advantage. Just because you see more and notice more of what goes on. To be quite honest, that doesn't mean you have to let others know exactly how much you see.

If you become an observer you can turn yourself into the deadliest weapon of all. This, I am writing is not something I can truly claim credit for. But I appreciate your money very much, should you wish to donate.

In short friends, this is about brotherhood, sisterhood, unity and whatever else you want to call it. This is, simply put; designed to make you relax.

I take great joy in living both sides of this. Deceiving others into thinking I know less than I really do. Also, surprising them with how much I do know. Or how much I can do, once I make the conscious effort and/or to do so.

By learning to live your life honestly. You will begin to see more about other people. You always take care of yourself first, ALWAYS! Because if you can't take care of yourself, then how the hell do you expect to take care of anything to do with other people?

If you cannot breathe to begin with, you cannot save the person standing in front of the raging bull. If you cannot move you cannot change the course of what is about to happen. You may find some tools will make it; so you can work around this.

By simply being aware of this fact you will find it easier to use your subconcious mind to help your conscious decisons. While at the same time thinking entirely within your own mind to clear the thoughts that have surely swelled up to the size of watermelons by now. They were previously grapes.

Just as everything intertwines. The logical and illogical realities of our realm. Whether they be of spiritual nature or physical. None of this has to be near as seperate like some would think. Nor does this have to disclude anyone's personal beliefs to a certain degree.

All I am saying is this. Reality is what we make of it or it is what was made already. The universe is the essence of power we can talk to at will or not be able to see. It is all the same force. The mask we put on it, is our choice.

This, is universalism.

I read all of that. And for the most part I agree with that mentality. I say "for the most part" only because my brain is not working to its full capacity and I may have missed something. But. Besides that yes.

I really don't mind what others believe so long as they keep it to themselves and do not stamp on other beliefs. I suppose I direct this maintowards christianity, but there are other out there as well. Somehow I would like everyone to be able to see the way other people think, just experience that, even if they didn't change their mind. How terrible is it to look through someone else's eyes and experience something (or someone) else? I know too many people here at my high school even who detest the idea of having to go somewhere where everyone speaks a different language or, [insert favored diety here] forbid, worship another god or gods.

Before you can open your mind you must first open your eyes.

I'll let Gandhi speak for me:

"After long study and experience, I have come to the conclusion that 1) all religions are true; 2) all religions have some error in them; 3) all religions are almost as dear to me as my own Hinduism, in as much as all human beings should be as dear to one as one's own close relatives. My own veneration for other faiths is the same as that for my own faith; therefore no thought of conversion is possible."

---

Once, a missionary named E. Stanley Jones met with Ghandi asked him, "Mr. Ghandi, though you quote the words of Christ often, why is that you appear to so adamantly reject becoming his follower?"

Ghandi replied, "Oh, I don't reject your Christ. I love your Christ. It's just that so many of you Christians are so unlike your Christ."
