A Thousand Splendid Suns by the Author of The Kite Runner.

It's actually a pretty decent book.

"The Omnivore's Dilemma" by Michael Pollan.
It was given to me at orientation for school in the fall. All about food. More interesting than I thought it would be.

I just stared "Blonde Roots" which is about what the slave trade would've been like if the roles were reversed. Quite interesting.

I just finished a book (actually it's three books in one) called "Kissed by an Angel." It was like a glorified soap opera romance which the author somehow made meaningful to a small degree. There weren't love triangles, there were love pentacles and hexagons. Tongue

I recently finished reading Little Brother By Cory Doctorow
It's about a teen that gets captured by the Department of Homeland Security and gets tortured, etc.  Then he gets out, and fights back with technology.  Very good read.
Also, it's been published in a Creative Commons license, so you could just google "Little Brother Cory Doctorow Download" and read it for free.
(Also, while I'm on the topic of Cory Doctorow, if you use a slightly less than legal method of obtaining music, check out some of Cory's speeches on DRM and copyright laws, amazing stuff.)

"A Man For All Seasons" by Robert Bolt. Yes, I am reading this again even though the fact that it was a set text in my final year of high school would generally be enough to make kids trash the hell out of it. Or sell it. But somehow I'm finding myself able to enjoy it.

I'm reading Vonnegut's "Welcome to the Monkey House".
I was trying to save it for the train ride home for the holidays, but I can't not read it when it's just sitting there.
